"Roy Hargrove in Cuba: Photos by Merri Cyr"
In 1997 photographer Merri Cyr was hired to accompany Roy to Cuba and photograph his album package for what would become the Grammy award winning album “Habana”. During that trip she was able to capture incredibly beautiful photos of Roy, the musicians, as well as Havana and its people. They are currently on display at Ornithology Jazz Club in Brooklyn and will be available for viewing for one month. Don’t miss the chance to see these stunning photographs in person.
