The Roy Hargrove Big Band had its inaugural performance at the Greenwich Village Jazz Festival in 1995. Touring domestically and internationally, the late Roy Hargrove conducted his Big Band with high composition standards still honored today. The performance will feature musicians who played with Hargrove and will bring to Vassar an exciting and modern twist to jazz music.
