Roy’s relationship with Japan goes all the way back to his professional beginnings - he went to Mt. Fuji Jazz Festival at age 18 - and has only deepened over the decades. From his recordings with The Jazz Networks in the early 1990s to the countless concerts with his quintet, big band, and of course the RH Factor - Japan has always been one of Roy’s favorite places to play and visit. Bringing Roy’s music back to his fans and friends in this way is long overdue and we can’t wait!
