15 years ago today, Roy’s album “Earfood” was released worldwide. Featuring his then-quintet of Justin Robinson, Gerald Clayton, Danton Boller and the late, great Montez Coleman, the album was selected by Jazziz Magazine as one of the “5 Essential Albums” of 2008 and includes Roy’s original “Strasbourg St. Denis,” which has gone on to become a jazz standard. 👑
